Nigel Adams has many years practical experience in international marketing & business development in Central and Eastern Europe and an extensive network of business, finance and diplomatic contacts.
From 1993 until 1999, he was a British government “Know How Fund” management adviser, living in Poland, working with and advising the senior management of many Polish companies during their restructuring, prior to privatisation. The businesses included: textiles, clothing, household products, vehicles, engineering, test equipment, food, medical equipment and packaging materials.
Nigel is now Managing Director of Nigel Adams & Company Ltd, which provides practical international business, marketing and management advice and support to the management of British companies to help them to establish operations and develop business in Central and Eastern Europe.
Nigel is also Programme Director of the BSc Business Enterprise at the University of Buckingham, where he teaches, advises and mentors students taking the innovative two year honours degree in Business Enterprise. This is one of the only undergraduate programmes in Europe which offers students the opportunity to start a business and achieve an honours degree at the same time.
Nigel is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and a Chartered Marketer. He helped to establish in Poland, the first officially recognised branch of Chartered Institute of Marketing in Continental Europe.
